ABOUT bRALETTE
Welcome to bralette zine! Our zine aims to inspire a sense of playfulness and connection. We believe that intimacy should be an accessible form of nourishment, healing and empowerment.
The erotic world is often reduced to cliches and limited by stigma, when in reality each experience presents a new opportunity for expression. We provide an alternative way of looking at sexuality that is intentional, powerful and present.
The eye of the photographer helps us to access these real moments in time. Photographs allow us to see much of the picture clearly, while also leaving space for imagination and fantasy. There is a vast world of possibility between the extremes of sexual repression and exploitation. Bralette seeks to share some personal interpretations of that world, so that we can ignite others to move with freedom and awe.
Photography and poetry
For us, photography and erotic poetry go hand in hand. Each issue is imbued with sensual words and imagery that take you to new heights. Our work is largely unedited with much of the photography being shot on film cameras which we find to be dreamy and nostalgic.
We showcase real people, real love and real moments in time. This project was spawned from our own private annals, and drawn from actual encounters, not staged or highly produced.
There is immense beauty in the moments before and after sex and we want to share our stories with you. What will you create?
