vol.1 Weekend in salem

Issue one will always be near and dear to our hearts. We conceptualized this zine, executed our first shoot and published within a matter of a few months. It was as if it just wanted to live through us and it was our responsibility to breathe life into the project.

We poured time, energy and money into laying the foundation for something that felt truly authentic. While it took a short-ish time to execute, the elements of this Zine have been living inside of us for many years. It’s a culmination of many of our past experiences in photography, art, and sexual exploration. We wouldn’t have been able to come to this without a clear sense of who we are as individuals, people who have lived and learned how to prioritize intimacy and sexual exploration in a way that feels truly tailored to our specific needs.

We hope you take from this a sense of joy, wonder, creativity, inspiration, and we hope it turns you on!

There is always a risk in showcasing one’s own experiences in such a raw way, but ultimately our goal is to encourage others to be more embodied and connected so it feels deeply worthwhile!

We are going for a sophisticated look because we love beautiful things, but this is also juxtaposed with the diary-like nature of the content. Hopefully it is a perfect blend of honest connection mixed with a healthy dose of fantasy.
